My host, Ritesh, provided exceptional service and genuine care, offering thoughtful guidance and sharing parts of the island’s history and beauty that most tourists never encounter. As a world traveler, this stands out as one of my best travel experiences. I stayed at Residence Les Bambous, which, while not the newest property, was clean, efficient, and perfectly suited for travelers who want to explore the island rather than focus on luxury accommodations. Some reviews were unfairly critical, but I found the hotel ideal for my needs. Each morning, a hot and plentiful breakfast was served on the rooftop, framed by stunning mountain views. Between the island’s natural beauty and Ritesh’s knowledgeable, attentive hosting, this trip was unforgettable and deeply treasured. Mauritius captured my heart in every way.
